Pengantin kecewa, suasana sepi di majlis perkahwinan tanpa kedatangan tetamu

SALEM, Oregon – Satu rakaman video tular di negeri Oregon menunjukkan suasana sepi sebuah majlis perkahwinan yang hanya bertemankan kerusi-kerusi tetamu terbiar kosong, lapor akhbar Daily Star semalam.

 

Rakaman dimuat naik di platform TikTok oleh akaun @kalina_marie_23 itu menunjukkan pasangan pengantin, Kalina Marie dan Shane, berjalan di tengah dewan kosong dengan perasaan hampa bercampur sedih.

 

Lebih menyayat hati, majlis perkahwinan mereka dihadiri cuma lima tetamu daripada 40 jemputan yang dirancang.

 

“Ibu saya menghantar mesej pukul 1.15 tengah hari (waktu tempatan) bahawa tiada sesiapa di dalam dewan perkahwinan.

 

“Saya bersama suami muncul pukul 2 petang. Kami terkejut apabila majlis itu dihadiri lima tetamu meskipun tempat yang dirancang boleh memuatkan seramai 40 orang.

 

“Semua makanan dan minuman terbuang, manakala meja dan kerusi terbiar kosong,” kata Marie.

 

Tambahnya, dia telah menjemput lebih 75 orang secara online dan membelanjakan wang untuk menghantar 25 kad jemputan mahal.

 

Meskipun di hadapan segelintir tetamu, Marie dan Shane tetap meraikan hari istimewa mereka.

 

Rakaman itu mencatatkan lebih 8.8 juta tontonan dan menimbulkan pelbagai reaksi.

All the wasted food and drinks. All the empty tables and chairs. Every moment of my reception changed to adapt. Did we still make the most of it?? You bet your SWEET @$$ we did. But did this video just take all the good moments and shoot them out of the water for a second, F$&K yea it did 😔 It just makes me think, like, why? What did we do? Am I that bad of a person? What did my husband ever do to deserve any of this? Why couldn’t we matter enough for people to show up? I still have “friends” that haven’t even messaged me to congratulate me or tell me why they didn’t come. It truly makes me sick. I honestly can’t wrap my head around this yet.
